We had another busy week at Ardlodge. To our horror we discovered that the plumbers do not fit shower doors. To save further expense Cheryl and I had to dig out the instructions and try to figure out how to put them together from some very poor diagrams. Two days later we finally managed to get the first shower door installed. With the help of the two Ians we managed to get the other two sets of doors fitted quicky.
BT arrived on Tuesday and connected the phoneline.
Garage door finally arrived and was fitted, and more stones were delivered and spread around the house. We now have the obligatory ramp at the front door.
Francis the tiler arrived at 0745 on Saturday morning and 11 hours later he had the Sunroom, Kitchen and utility room floors finished. He returned on Sunday to do the two en suites plus the downstairs toilet and all the grouting. He's done a fantastic job.
Baysview Boilers also arrived on site and commissioned the oil boiler.
Didn't take any pictures this week - check back next week for photograhs as we hope to move in.
